es gibt das Buch "Game Design" (ist im Markt und Technik-Verlag erschienen). Da haben viele bekannte Game-Designer (u.a. Tim Willits, John Romero) reingeschrieben. Da werden grundsätzliche Dinge gesagt (nicht NUR aber auch über Leveldesign), eine Anleitung zu WC oder so wirst du da NICHT finden.
Ist aber interessant, ich lese das selbst :-)
